Made from the finest materials and finished with loving care, the design expresses the eternal spirit of Oaxacan art. It is made of "rescued" wood, left-over stock from old carpentry workshops, windfalls and pieces too small for normal use. Hand-crafted in this magical city, EXELSA Kaleidoscopes and Jewelery Boxes reflect the ancient design in the textile arts, tapestries, and temple carvings of the Zapotec and Mixtec cultures. EXELSA Kaleidoscopes combine the talents of Elena Dur‡n and David Piper. Important Notice: They only have 20 sets remaining of the models. These are very unique pieces because EXELSA will not be continuing to produce such work due to personal health problems of the artist.
